New Balance High School Competition

High school runners and coaches: Join us for our inaugural High School Competition presented by New Balance. Compete against other teams for great prizes, special race day perks, and hang with members of Pacers Elite and other collegiate and post-collegiate athletes.

Registration for the competition opens June 1. High School coaches are invited to our post-race coaches party hosted by New Balance and Coach Matt Centrowitz.

Packets will be available according to the following schedule. We regret we cannot mail, hold, or transfer packets among stores.

On Site Registration & Packet Pick Up

Registration will be available from 7:00pm-8:30pm the evening of the race at 2121 Crystal Drive (near the start/finish line).

Bag Check

There will be a bag check available near 2121 Crystal Drive from 7:00pm-10:00pm Any items left after the race will be transported to Pacers Arlington.

Items not claimed after August 10 will be discarded. Pacers Events is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Check at your own risk.

Timing

This event will utilize disposable ChronoTrack timing tags. No tag = no time.

Directions & Transportation

METRO

The race is located just steps from the Crystal City METRO (yellow/blue). Please exit at 18th Street and head towards Crystal Drive. Turn right onto Crystal Drive to the start area.

Parking

Free parking is available in Crystal City, however, you may experience a delay entering and exiting lots between 20th and 23rd Streets.

Post-Race Massage

We will have post-race massage available.

Complimentary Post-Race Showers

Enjoy complimentary post-race showers at Sport + Health located steps from the finish line. Showers open until 10:30pm.

First Place: $300
Second Place: $200
Third Place: $150
Fourth Place: $100
Fifth Place: $50

Course Record Bonus: $250

Merchandise prizes to the top three M/F in the following age groups:
0-5,6-10, 11-14, 15-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+

Overall places are based on gun time; age group awards are based on net time.

Join Pacers and New Balance as we kick off the 2011 New Balance Cross Country Tour!

High school athletes will be scored in their own division with special perks, prizes and gears for high school teams.
